ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.
This is a community built around conversation,
comedy, opinions, arguments, stories, adult humor,
unpopular takes and the occasional sentence that
makes somebody clutch their pearls.
If disagreement, profanity, dark humor, satire,
sarcasm or somebody having an opinion you hate
causes immediate emotional combustion, this may not
be your corner of the Internet.
The First Amendment Part
We believe strongly in free expression and in
giving people room to speak, joke, question,
argue and disagree.
Important lawyer-ish footnote:
The First Amendment restricts government
censorship. It does not require a privately
operated website to publish every statement,
tolerate every behavior or surrender its own
moderation rules.
In plain English: we like free speech.
We also own the furniture.
Being Offended Is Not A Report Category
You may encounter something here that you find
offensive, stupid, ridiculous, tasteless,
annoying, politically incorrect, badly timed or
spectacularly wrong.
That alone is not misconduct.
There is no
“I disagree with this person”
button and no
“this joke hurt my feelings”
emergency response team.
Debate it. Ignore it. Laugh at it. Challenge it.
Leave the room. Close the browser. Touch grass.
All remain available technologies.
What Actually Can Be Reported
Free expression does not mean the community has
to tolerate conduct that crosses into actual
abuse or unlawful behavior.
Reports are appropriate for things such as
credible threats, targeted unlawful harassment,
stalking, doxxing, impersonation, spam,
malicious attempts to compromise accounts or
systems, exploitation, unauthorized disclosure
of private information, or illegal content.
Moderation decisions are made according to the
community rules and the circumstances involved,
not according to who was the most offended.
Comedy Warning
Humor is subjective.
Context matters.
Sarcasm occasionally travels badly over the
Internet.
A joke appearing on this site does not mean every
host, guest, member, owner or listener agrees
with it.
Likewise, allowing a member to express an opinion
does not mean T.I.T.S Podcast endorses that
opinion.
Adults Are Expected To Act Like Adults
Participate in good faith.
Argue with ideas.
Do not turn disagreements into threats,
stalking, invasions of privacy or attempts to
harm another person.
The community works best when people can say
difficult things without everybody immediately
reaching for a digital courtroom.
Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes
T.I.T.S Podcast may suspend, disable, restrict or
permanently delete a user account for violating
community rules, abusing the site, threatening other
users, attempting to compromise accounts or systems,
repeatedly creating problems, or other conduct the
owners determine is harmful to the community.
Moderation decisions are made at the owners’
discretion. Not every decision requires a committee
meeting, a twelve-person jury or a dramatic courtroom
soundtrack.
In plain English:
your account is yours to use, but this is our house.
If you set the couch on fire, we may ask you to leave.
Creating another account to get around a suspension or
ban may result in that account being removed too.
About Your Money
Refund requests are reviewed individually and are
generally handled at the owners’ discretion, subject
to applicable law and any requirements imposed by the
payment processor.
Purchasing a membership does not buy immunity from the
community rules, and being suspended or banned does not
automatically guarantee a refund.
We’ll try to be reasonable. You should try not to give
us a reason to have this conversation in the first place.
In other words:
don’t pay five bucks, flip over the virtual furniture,
get thrown out, and then act surprised that there’s
paperwork.
Your Choice To Participate
By entering the community, you understand that
you may encounter mature language, controversial
subjects, strong opinions and humor that is not
designed for everybody.
Participation is voluntary.
Your continued use of the community means you
accept that basic reality.
